How to change tempo on a separate audio track in a project

Just like the tile says…I have a tambourines patch I got out of Sound browser in an audio track that are going too fast and need to slow the tempo

Do you have Musical Mode activated for the audio event? It should adapt the tempo of the event to the project tempo.

Yes at 120bpm…when I click the musical mode off the tempo stays the same… it’s a prerecorded patch or clip from Media bay or sound browser…what I want to do is change the tempo only in that tambourine track not in any other track…I would like to audition the changed tempo so that it sounds how I want it

Ok. Is there a tempo specified for the imported clip in the audio pool? Maybe it needs to be corrected there first so that Cubase is able to compute the correct time stretch factor applied in Musical Mode (activated in the info line or the pool).
