The attached screenshot shows the two notes I’d like to tie together. When I do this, Dorico turns D# into Eb. How can I do this easily without having to fiddle around with creating extra voices, as some suggested in this forum? In Finale, this was as easy as eating pie. Simply select the second note and change the enharmonic spelling. In Dorico, I can’t just select the second note head; it automatically selects both.
