I am trying to use the Studiologic SL Mixface with Cubase 12. It’s all set up and works except the tracks in my project seem to start with #1 stereo input track but then it shows the next track #4. Is there a way to renumber the tracks so I can use all 8 of the faders in the Mixface?

It’s not possible to change the Track #, Cubase does this automatically.
To me it looks like you have some tracks hidden. Could you attach a screenshot?
And, yes. The first few tracks are missing.

As we can see on your screenshot, the Set Track Visibility Agent icon (on top of the track list) is orange. That means you are filtering some track types.
OK. Thank you for that assistance!! Now, how do I remove those Halion and master tracks and replace them with other tracks in the project? Copy and paste?

Right-click and Remove Selected Track.

I can’t find Remove Selected Track in the HSSE Main or Groove Agent tracks.

OK. With a little research I found out how to remove any Groove Agent or Halion tracks.
I now can control tracks 1 thru 8 with the Studiologic SL Mixface. But, How do I access tracks 9 thru 16?

The tracks in the VST Instrument folder are outputs - they can only be removed by de-activating them, either via the rack instrument dialogue (default key command F11) or in the instrument interface.
To copy and paste or remove tracks, you’ll need to locate the MIDI tracks associated with the instruments.
