How to choose the amount of bars

Hi,

I searched and I searched but but finaly didn’t find this basic manipulation.

I want my score from bars 100 to 200 (for instance) and I don’t know how to do it.

Of course I tryed to put the locators at the right place or chose the appropriate part but nothing is good. :frowning:

I still have some part that I don’t want.

I readed the manual but find nothing.

How can tell to cubase what I want in score and only that.

Hi,

Sorry, I’m not sure I do understand your need. Could you be more specific, please?

If you want to work in some area only, use the Locators and enable Cycle. Why this doesn’t work for you?

Score Editor is MIDI Part based. So you can just create a new MIDI Part in range of 100-200 bars and you can write your MIDI/Notes here. Why this doesn’t work for you?

Split the track(s) at the locators (scissors tool). Select part(s) you want to see. Delete unwanted parts if needed.

I found the solution.

It’s here :

Editing individual parts in Page Mode

When you view a single part in Page Mode, the bars before and after the part is normally shown as empty measures in the Score Editor. This is to preserve the layout of the track, that is, the spacing between staves and barlines, number of bars per staff, etc.

If you want to view and print a single part, without any surrounding empty bars, activate the “Unlock Layout when editing single parts” option in the Preferences dialog (Scores–Editing page). Note, however, that if you adjust the layout when editing the part in this mode, this erases the layout for the whole track!

That’s wasn’t easy to find.

Anyway : thank you every body
