How to control Cubase 5.1 Multipanner with physical faders?

Happy Easter Wiseones,

I am trying to master Cubase’s (5.1) Multipanner. I principally want to control the X and Y axises using my AMC3 three faders (not listed in Cubase) . It would be good to get automation control of all of the parameters.

We are offered "Quick Controls"or “MIDI remote”.
TBH, I do not understand either of them but i shall learn what I must.

I find I am not sure how to even conceive of doing this.

What is the best way please?

Sorry I don’t remember, but I’ve use this setup to control multi surround pan for a project long time ago….

I found a way using both track quick controls and MIDI remote. A very clunky unintuitive experience. Not at all easy. Steinberg should offer CC leaarn for the multipanner. Thanks 87
