how to convert multiple audio track versions into a multiple-lane track for comp?
Select, copy, place cursor to start of selection/first event, change track version, paste. If you end up with all Events on the same lane, just pull them down into an empty lane.
I ran into this several times. I would to see a tracks to lanes feature or be able to import tracks directly to lanes from an external file or from the pool. Even in Cubase 11 it is the same workflow unless someone has a macro for it.
Steinberg is more and more like pro tools. no listen and no improments.
