How to copy a trombone part for F horn

I want to select and copy a trombone part for f horn. But I can’t manage to select the whole part from the beginning to the end. Can someone help?

Write mode, click the first note, Edit menu > Select to end of flow, will probably do it.
To paste, put the cursor to where that first note was (same measure/bar, beat position) then paste.

There are two other approaches that you can consider, depending on exactly what you’re trying to do.

  1. In Setup mode, you can select the trombone player, right-click, and choose Duplicate Player. Then expand the player card of the new player, click on the three-dot menu next to the instrument name, choose Change Instrument, and change to a horn. This will give you a new staff with the horn part.
  2. In Setup mode, you can create a new layout containing the trombone player. Right click on the layout and choose Clef and Transposition Override, and set things up like so:

    In this case, you won’t have a new player, or a new line in the score – just a layout containing the trombone music that can be played by on a horn.

In Clef and Transposition Overrides , I cańt adjust the Treble Cleff and the cleff for first staff. it doesńt react…Do you know what´s wrong? Thank you so much in advance.

There are no instruments listed. Have you added Players to your Layout?

As @benwiggy says, click on the new layout you selected, so it turns bright blue. Then make sure that the checkbox for the trombone player (on the left) is ticked, as well as the checkbox for any flows (on the bottom).
