I’ve edited a chord symbol in Engrave mode to make a chord that Dorico doesn’t normally recognise, however when I try to alt-click it somewhere else I end up with an invisible chord symbol (that you can see is the original starting chord by invoking the popover). How should I be doing this?
I did consider using the engraving option change default appearance, but my understanding is that you can’t create arbitrary new chords with this method? And I can’t change an existing chord because this is a complex project and I don’t want to risk changing something earlier on in the project.
