How to create a wavy glss

The only gliss I’ve found links notes together, but I need a gliss that has the wavy line downwards and doesn’t connect to another note (I have 3 beats rest after it) -
Please can anybody advise?

If I understand you correctly, the way I know to achieve this is adding the Jazz Articulation called “Fall Smooth (Wavy)”.

Is that done with “create ornament” ? I tried that but it just keep giving me a downward curved line, like a downward scoop
