Is it possible to create an audio CD - iso file with Wavelab?
→ Put 10 to 12 Audio Files into one iso file and burn it at a different place.
Thx

An Audio CD is not an ISO format.
Ah ok, how then to create one file (like an “ISO” ) to burn on another place without wavelab?
You can create a DDP and burn it elsewhere. More info here https://archive.steinberg.help/wavelab_pro/v12/en/WaveLab_Pro_12_Operation_Manual_en.pdf
To write audio montages to an audio CD or a DDP image, open the Album window, and select Functions > Write Audio CD or DDP. The following options are the same for writing both audio files and audio montages to audio CD or DDP image:
Thx a lot.
I actually chose Audacity for my little project, because the workflow there is much much much faster than in Wavelab.
The CD creation will be with another programm with wav-files with a simple drag and drop.
Wavelab is for this purpose far overdeveloped. Wonder why things can be not as easy-peasy in 2026 as they have been 20 or 30 years ago - honestly!
Hi - veering off-topic I know, but am curious on this part of the workflow; can you say which other program you use(d) for the actual CD creation please.? Are you Win or Mac.?
Many thanks.
I am just creating the wav-files (with Audacity, because it is much faster to work with for simple tasks. Wavelab is so overcomplicated in doing simple things, imho. Every mouseclick, every menue, every preference… so crowded and non-intuitive) and send them to a colleague to burn them. I don’t know what program he uses. First Idea was creating an ISO, i.e. DDP image. But overall it’s much faster to do it the old school way. I am tired of reading tons of manuals for just accomplishing some basic stuff.
Ah.! Ok, thanks - no worries.
