How to create room between staves in galley view?

Hi all, I have an orchestral score here and I’m working in Write Mode.

I would love to e.g. drag the horns and trumpets a bit out of each other. Creating vertical room between them. How can I do that?

There’s a setting in Layout Options > Vertical Spacing to set the distance between all staves. That’s it. The whole point of Galley View is that it doesn’t do all the layout work that happens in Page View.

Thanks Ben. That’s for sure a workaround but not exactly what I’m looking for.

Doing like this would make all distances larger, while I need that only between few lines in my score. But it would make the score so large, that it doesnt fit my screen anymore.

(In Sibelius you can just grab a stave and drag it up or down.)

How to just change one such distance in a fullscore?

As said, there isn’t a method for moving staves about in Galley View, independently of the Layout Options that affect Page View.

I’m afraid you can’t do that in Dorico, but I agree that it would be nice.
