How to decrease height of Faders in Mixconsole?

Hi guys!

I bought Cubase 14 and I was pretty hiped about the the full MixConsole on the bottom of the screen because I’ve been working on my laptop on the go a lot.

Now I see that I can’t customize the height of the Faders at some point, which makes it actually worse than before.

Am I being a noob here or is this for real? I want to make the faders very smaller in height so I have more space to see inserts without having to cover 70% of the screen with the MixConsole.

It looks like 70% is as small as they go.

RIP… do you know if there’s a way to go back to Cubase 13 view of mixconsole without having to use Cubase 13?

Because like this I’m not able to see the tracks if I’m seeing inserts, sends and faders and I have the biggest screen macbook pro

You’re not the only one. There is already post on this topic. Check out the earlier user posts about it.

Yes, I agree too that this can be problematic with small displays (as the one I have here on a Mac, a 13.1).
A workaround is to ignore the lower zone mixer and use the mixer windows instead by adjusting their positions properly to fit the display.

Here are two examples of my Mac display:

In the first one I’m using MixConsole, while in the second one MixConsole 2. We can then use shortcuts to toggle between these two.
