How to define articulation, in addition to the standard articulations

Good morning,
Do any of you have experience with vst3 instruments like Vienna’s VI Instruments Pro? For example, I have a solo trumpet plugin that includes more articulations than just legato, staccato, and marcato. I think I need to create an expression map, but how exactly should I define these articulations in Dorico Pro6? Does this also have anything to do with creating templates? I hope I can express myself well, as I’m having some difficulty with English.

Sincerely, Jan

Hi Jan, Dorico uses playback templates in the first instance to connect playback sounds to notations in the music.

You can find available playback templates for major sound libraries here, that my colleague John Barron has put together (what a hero)

Hi Liliy

Thanks for your reply, I’ll watch that video.
Little by little, we’ll figure it out.
