See screenshot, look at the tenor line (third stave from top). For some reason, some phantom whole rests appear there, as if they’re in an upper voice. This is a very simple choral piece, so I only want to preserve the notes in that stave (no extra rests above the stave). How do I solve this?
Turn on voice colors (View>Note and Rest Colors>Voice Colors) and you will see if the tenor by mistake has been written in a second voice. If so, move all notes to the same voice and the rests will disappear.
