How to disable the abbreviation "unis." in choral scores?

Hi,

In choral staves, is there a way to automatically disable or hide the abbreviation “unis.” so I don’t have to do it one by one throughout the entire score and waste a tremendous amount of time? It’s very, very tedious, and there’s always a risk of missing some.

Thank you,

Greg

If you never need it, try setting Library->Engraving Options->Condensing->Text for unison… to a space. Or are you talking about divisi?

Jesper

Thanks. In my choral scores, I’ll never need it. Obviously, “unis.” appears when I write for divisi (S1 and S2 for example) and when the staves are condensed and the notes and the rythm are the same.

So, did changing the text to a space work?

Jesper

Yes, thank you very much!

Good, didn’t try it myself.

Jesper

I’m sure there must be another method, as I’ve definitely automatically had no labels for divisi, but I don’t think I’ve changed that Condensing option.

This one in Layout Options:

But that will hide the divisi numbers also. Maybe not important, though.

Jesper

Indeed; to only hide the “unis” labels, I think your solution is the right one.

But he probably wanted to hide the numbers also.
Thanks @charles_piano, forgot about the layout option.
