How to edit title token?

I am trying to make the title a smaller font by highlighting it then changing the text size, but I can’t highlight the text without it reverting back to the token which means I have to re-enter new text. It’s a small but annoying thing that takes up time. Oddly it seems that sometimes it works and sometimes not. This is an xml.

Select the token, and change its font. Then when you leave the text frame, the token will be replaced with the Title field from the Project Info.
Or, if the Token is using a Paragraph Style, just change the Paragraph Style.
