How to erase background for the lyrics?

I am struggling to erase the background behind the lyrics when slurring the notes.

Please help.

You could try to set a white background color for the Library->Paragraph Styles->Lyrics, or duplicate the Lyrics style like Lyrics White BG, and apply that style where needed.
