How to expand a one-note selection to the whole bar?

In a very full bar (on one staff) it can be hard to find an empty spot to click to select the whole bar. Is there an easy way to expand a one-note selection to the whole bar? Shift-cmd-Right followed by shift-cmd-A works, but is there a simpler method?

You can drag around the bar. Or click on something and shift-click the other end.

What are you going to do with that selection? There might be another way.

I tend to think in bar-fulls of music to copy or duplicate notes, dynamics or some other element. (The selection Filter is great). Single-click on an empty bit of bar selects every element, while drag-over-bar and shift-click only select notes. (sh-cmd-:arrow_right: selects everything which is then inherited by sh-cmd-A).

Can’t you use the System Track to select a bar and all its contents? No?

Or do you only mean from a given note in a bar to the end?

System Track selects a bar in all staves. I want only the staff I’ve clicked.

Pardon me not reading your post carefully.
