Hi all, I am using Cubase 13 Pro on Windows 11. I have several songs that have been mixed and mastered. I created a new project and imported the mastered songs. I am ready to export the project and create the finished album. I’ve figured out how to use the cycle markers to identify the individual songs with space between each, but when I export the project it is one long audio file rather than the individual numbered and named songs that you can cycle through separately. In the export audio menu I have cycle markers selected and can see the named and numbered songs with the boxes checked. I haven’t been able to find any answers to this specific question so far and any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hi,
three things that caught my attention:
- where’s your marker track??
- your output is not set to Stereo Out - is that on purpose?
- your project is set to 24 bit and yet your export settings show 32 bit float
Hi Reco29, thank you for responding.
-I’ve never used marker tracks to separate verse/chorus/bridge. I thought that was the marker track primary function?
-The output should have been Stereo Out, yes.
-The project was recorded in 24 bit, however the mastered versions sent back to me were in 32 bit float. I should still export in 24 bit or should the mastering have been done in 24 bit?
Also, I made some progress with the topic of the post. Using the cycle markers along with figuring out the naming scheme I was able to export all four named and numbered songs in this project into one folder. However, now that they are separated the songs are playing one at a time, then stopping and not flowing into the next song. Getting closer…
