How to export to MusicXML without losing accent marks?

Hi,

My Cubase version: 7.6.40 (64 bits)
I export to MusicXML songs with lyrics in spanish, where I use this type of accent marks:

á, é, í, ñ

The resulting xml file loses this information. Its header is like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" standalone="no"?> Cubase, Version 7.5.40, Build 315 2017-01-16 \ \ Probably I would like to have another encoding, like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

But I don’t know where to edit that in Cubase. I can’t change the XML file one per one, because I have hundreds of those.
I have to do it directly from Cubase, exporting correctly the accent marks data.

I appreciate very much your answer.
Best,
Neya

I have asked this question to the support team 9 days ago, and I didn’t get an answer yet. I’m sure they will do, as they always answer every question. When I have an answer I’ll post it here.

Sorry to tell you, There’s no way to configure the MusicXML output. The header only tells the receiver what to expect, the characters need to be properly encoded too.
