Hii guys, I hope you all are doing well. I have started my music production journey recently and made some beats and music. I would like to extract vocals from an existing song and want to put my music with it. Please guide me through how I can extract vocals from a song. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Spectralayers that comes with Cubase will do it. You don’t say which version of Cubase you have and it depends on the version if you have Spectralayers or not. If you gave Cubase 15 then there is the stem separator as well. You would be better checking for YouTube videos but either of those is quite easy without reading or watching videos.
If you don’t have a cubase version that does it you could do worse than this free option.
Are you using Cubase? If so which edition (LE, AI, Elements, Artist, or Pro) and which version?
It makes quite a difference to the answer.
Watch out for copyright!
I’ll use it for my personal use.
Hey, thank you for your reply. Actually I was using Cubase 10, and it is not available in it.
Cubase 10, sorry for not mentioning earlier.
I don’t recall whether Cubase 10 included Spectral Layers One with vocal separation.
If not, then just use one of the web services on the internet. There are plenty, some let you do a separation for free for trial.
Hey thank you for your reply, actually I got a method to extract the vocals from the track with the help of garageband for free.
