I created a score with some divisi, then removed the divisis. They still show up as options when creating cues, like this: Violin I (a) / Violin I (b). How do I truly remove all divisis from a project?
Are you sure they’re all gone and that no notes were left behind? Are signposts on? It has happened to me on occasion that “select to end of flow” followed by “delete”, leaves note remnants.
If your sure they’re all gone, perhaps try restarting Dorico.
I believe any added staves, including divisi and ossia, exist forever in their instrument (within a flow) once they’re created, even if the staves are removed, or the divisi changes deleted. I believe the only way to avoid those staves being suggested in cues, or in manual staff visibility, is to create a new player/instrument and copy the music over.
I’m fairly sure they’re gone, so I expect Stu is correct. If I’m wrong and there are remnants after all, I’ll update this topic again.
