How to get from Cubase 7 to Cubase 13 Pro without a USB thing

Hi–
I’ve had Cubase 7 many years ago and I can see it under e-Licencers when I log in. I don’t have any USB device for this any more. I now bought Cubase 7->13 Pro upgrade last week. But when I try to activate it, the activation tool can’t find my Cubase 7 licence.
Are there any detailed steps listed somewhere that can help me to make this upgrade happen? I’m being given a 7-day notice period to do this, so ordering any old hardware device isn’t going to be possible in time I imagine.

Helppppp!

Matt

I’m afraid you must have your usb dongle with a Cubase 7 key on it for that upgrade to work. You might try to file for a refund/exchange?

Your ‘other hope’ might be to get a new dongle, file for ‘zero downtime’, and then do the upgrade once your new key(s) are established.

thanks… seems quite an effort when I own the software! I have purchased a new e-Licencer USB on next day delivery then will try the zero-downtime thing, and hopefully get it all sorted this way. I have until Monday so the clock is ticking

Thanks for the advice. I’ll come back here with an update in case anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

Fingers crossed!
