Hello, I seem to have a problem to get this (a hold on just one side of the grand staff, one at the top and one at the bottom) in Dorico. Is there a way of achieving this?
You should be able to go into Engrave mode, select the fermata above the left-hand staff, and set ‘Placement’ to ‘Below’.

This behavior is not new, you could already do that in Dorico 1.1 I think.
