Hello. I’m wondering how to get rid of the “in C/B flat/etc” after “Trumpet” in the instrument name. I’m writing for a friend who asked me to just write the sounding pitches and he will play it on whichever trumpet(s) he prefers, so I don’t want to confuse him by putting “in C/B flat/etc” in the instrument name. I can’t seem to find a way to just delete it. Thanks!
You can do this per-layout in Layout Options, or specify it for individual instruments in the Edit Instrument Names dialog.
