How to get rid of warp grid in template (SOLVED)

Hi,

In Cubase 12 I made a new template from an existing project. This template does not contain any audio files. In the project from which I made the template, I have done audio warping. Now in the template this is still present (see screendump). How do I remove this?

Hi,

Switch to the Object Selection tool. And delete all Tempo events.

Thanks. The trick was to

  1. Add a tempo track (which was not in the template) and then remove all events from the tempo track.

This didn’t solve the problem completely. Opening the Tempo Track Editor I noticed that there was still a 4/4 signature defined. Thus,

  1. Remove the 4/4 (which automatically changed it to 1/4).
