How to hear click in sample editor audition?

I am trying to figure out how to hear the click in the sample editor when I am auditioning a part i am editing. I hear it fine if I use the transport to playback and solo the editor, but I cant figure out how to enable for auditioning.

I usually let a sample run along with a looped section of my project, so that the click track is played with the song, and together with the auditioned sample.

Thanks. Yes, I can do that, but I wanted to be able to do it with just the audition. Is that not possible?

The reason is that when ever I press the play button in the transport, the Free Warp button gets deselected when i come back to make another edit.
