How to hide a player in full score but still has playback sound?

Is it possible to have a player hidden in full score, but still can hear the notes while playback? I tried to exclude the player in setup mode, right side full score layouts, but then it won’t playback the notes on that part.

Do you want to export the audio? In that case you could create a second Full Score layout specifically for playback.

Just use Manual Staff Visibility to hide the staff. (Add a System Break on the first bar.)

No, I am trying to create something like a beat track, like a clave, but I don’t want it to appear on the full score, but I want to hear it when I playback…

Thanks, I think that works, though it only works on page view not gallery or fill.

In that case you could also activate the metronome click by clicking the metronome icon in the top right:

You can customize the click settings in Playback options (ctrl/cmd+shift+P).

In galley view you can use the instrument filter to hide unwanted instruments. They will still playback.
