How to hide the banking indicator or synch it with Softube Console 1 Fader Mk3?

While you were replying I looked in my app menu and found LoopMIDI and opened it and added the ports: loopMIDI Port 2 and loopMIDI Port 3 but even after restarting Cubase they aren’t showing up in MIDI Port Setup.

Are you on Win11? It is a known issue unfortunately as explained here:

For me, opening CMD (as administrator) and then running net stop midisrv and afterwards net start midisrv (with Cubase closed) works.

Okay, it’s sort of working now.

  1. Starting at fader 1 I see the banking indicator is 10 faders wide
  2. The first time I push ‘page right’: The white line becomes 12 faders wide from fader 9 to fader 20
  3. Next, I push ‘page right’ again: The white line now becomes 14 faders wide from fader 17 to fader 30

I have to guess then that there is a conflict between how my script handles the remoted tracks, and how console 1 does it. If you’d like, you could send me a pm, with the script of the console 1 (I don’t have it) so I can have a look.

By the way, what happens if you just click on a track?

I stays out of synch even when I just select a track. I will send the softube script separately as you mentioned.

I sent the Softube script separately. Thank you for looking into it!
This issue might not bug other users as much as me, but I will be eternally grateful if you solve this!

Hi, I’ve inspected the script, I won’t comment something here on it, respecting the creators, their work on this great script, and most probably the non-public nature of it.
Here’s my suggestion. Try to bring this thread to the attention of the developers at SoftTube, and I’m sure if they take the effort they will deal with the issue pretty easily. The key point is to custom re-set the “remoted” property of the channels handled by the Fader 1.

Thank you for your feedback. I will pass this along to Softube.

This is all covered in the pinned post.

The loopMIDI fix is on our Discord server in preview to unblock you today, and will be in Windows starting at the end of this month.

Then follow the directions in the #start-here post you land on.

No need to start/stop midisrv
