How to hide unnecessary time signature in 2nd ending

I cannot select the time signature in either Engrave mode or Write mode in the 2nd ending. It is not needed. How can I hide or remove it?

It looks like an automatic restorative time signature. You can get rid of it by setting Notation Options > Repeats to Do Not Track. (Although then you’ll also lose the cautionary time sig at the end of the first ending.)

I admit that I’m having a little trouble reproducing this to verify, because I can’t see what’s happening in the previous systems. If the suggestion above doesn’t work for you, then please upload your project file so someone can take a look.

@asherber I tried your suggestion and behaved as you described. The helpful end of bar Time Signature marks disappeared, along with the incorrect one in the last bar. Hopefully a future release will provide more intelligence and/or options.

There are several options in Layout Options > Repeats

I enabled “Show in parenthesis” for the 3rd option which was an improvement. However, was hoping for an option that wasn’t there at all…“Hide”

It would be nice to be able to have a “Hide” option here – and also to be able to change the display of any individual item in the Properties panel.
