Dear all,
Yesterday I bought SLP 12 and, confident of the result, I tried to import “my” SLP 11 shortcuts file into the new version. To my great surprise, the import did not work.
Is there any reason for this? Is it possible to save a lot of time by doing this import somehow or do I have to rebuild all the shortcuts already saved from scratch?
Thank you in advance for any kind answer!
Best, maspi
Presets are in the application data folder, you should be able to copy them from the SL11 folder to the SL12 folder.
On Windows, you will find them in “%APPDATA%\Steinberg”
Dear MrSoundman, thank you, firstly, for your kind answer!
Now, I already know well such procedure. As a matter of facts, I already copied the last shortcuts file I saved from the SLP11 folder to the corresponding SLP12 folder, so as to load it. Yet, although I tried, “my” shortcuts were not imported.
For this reason I wonder: is it really possible to import the shortcuts from the previous (SLP11) version to this new one (SLP12)? This is very important for me, since I work heavily on audio restoration of old recordings.
I really thank in advance anyone who can give me an answer - even a negative one.
Best,
Marco
