I have read the manual and every post I can find on this topic and virtually every single thing focuses entirely on the grid. I can make the grid show 1/64 or 1/128th with no issue and am familiar with the quantize settings at the top and having bars and beats selected, etc. What I simply cannot figure out how to do is adjust the RULER or any ruler tracks to show anything higher resolution than 1/16th notes. It doesn’t matter how much I zoom or what the quantize settings are set to (even 1/1 doesn’t change it from being 1/16th notes at the highest levels of zoom). Essentially, changing the grid has absolutely no effect on the ruler itself. Is it just not possible to have the ruler show a smaller gradation than 1/16th notes?
When I’m very zoomed in, it’s just not possible to tell where within a measure I am, even with the grid showing 1/64th gradations because the ruler has either no markings or a 1/16th note hash which is unlabeled.
