Hello
Please could someone help me to explain (step by step) how to link by adat cable the three audio interfaces? I would have to get 20 inputs and 20 outputs.
For example if I will have this configuration
UR824 master
UR824 slave
Audient id44 slave
Of course I can change the order of the interfaces: master Audient and slave the other two.
Thanks a lot
Roby
give us some clues Mac / PC ?
basically
USB/ FW to your PC /Mac
ADAT cables between the others
clock input set to one of the ADATs Master
set others to slave
all lights should be stable if it syncs.
then you have to configure your OS to recognize it - its different for PCs and Macs
then configure cubase studio
etc
I have a scarlett 1820 and ur824- once setup I can disconnect it from computer (works standalone ) there are lots of options to configure I/O and that depends on workflow and or goals ) I think u can do that with UR824 not sure about the Audient
Hi IPX
About the setting I’m using:
PC 64 bit, USB, ADAT cable and CUBASE 13 PRO. The first one UR824 is the master clock and the second one the slave. There are linked by BNC for clock and ADAT, I’m working with 16 inputs and 16 outputs at 48KHZ (It’s very long time that I work with this layout). I know how to set the software and hardware with two audio interfaces, bat I don’t know how to link the third one by the ADAT cable. Each interface has two IN and two OUT and for example if I link the OUT Audient in the IN of 824 first slave, how it must be linked the 824 second slave?
