How to make my Cubase white and light, I'm using an E-paper displayer!

I set my editor and project background white, but the cubase doesn’t allow me to set the main menu in light color, only deep color allowed.

The displayer performs well in white background, but the deep color make it hard to look clear.

How can I change my cubase to all white and light

Change the menu colour via Windows Settings. I don’t think you’ll get white, though.

I HAVE change the windows colors to lght mode, yet the cubase menu is still dark and deep color

Hey, yeah, this is a pet peeve of mine too. I grew up with a white background in Cubase and hated this dark ‘Logic Audio’ look.

Rant over, to your question, I don’t think there is a way to turn everything white, like the mixing desk, the left-hand side panels, etc.

I have created a somewhat “lighter” colour for me, which works, but I had to give up the search for the old Cubase look and compromise.

The only sort of solution for that would be seeing if some sort of high contrast mode can be set on just the e-ink display. I know Windows can have different scaling levels for each display, not sure about color modes.

I prefer a dark interface but with proper separation between elements and gradients for interest. I like dark interfaces because I tend to cue to the important elements, with a light interface I keep cueing on the interface rather than the elements…it just becomes a whitewash :slight_smile:

It worked for me really well tbh, I loved it, but , it is what it is.
