How to make the Aux track show in the mixer

Hi, I cannot seem to find a way to show the aux track output…I have an N12 and use the aux out for the cue channels, but where is it? I only have the stereo out and just can’t find the aux out….yeah, I’m an idiot and have always been confused with the in out stuff, any help would be awesome, I am using the control room if that actually counts for anything.. thanks in advance.

Since there is nothing in Nuendo that is actually called “aux out” it is not quite clear to me what you are looking for.
The Cue Sends for the Control Room have their own section (sections are called Racks) in the MixConsole. You can enable/disable them being displayed.
Is that what you mean?

N12 is a street in France I found with Google.

When you try to define inputs and outputs in Cubase you should see the possible options.

Create appropriate output busses and route signals in the mixer. Cues with defined outputs are as well very nice since you can chose if you want to send the main mix or separate cue mixes to their associated outputs.

Hi, thank you for replying….My Yamaha N12 has 2 headphone outs, one is control room out the other one is Aux out (please see attached pic) the control room out appears in the cubase mixer but not the Aux out, can’t figure out why…..all cue channels are available in the mixer…

thanks again guy’s!

Because Main Monitor here is something like “substitute” for Stereo Mix (or how it is called in Outputs tab) - means it is the default output bus. The “Headphones” here has been defined (I am sure) only for Control Room so it can be accessed in this case only in Control Room panel (the rightmost pane on the main screen).

Thank you pavlii…I’ve tried to set the headphones for the booth as monitor 2 but then the Cue’s are not available in the mixer…wish I had a brain and could figure this out!!

Well - I use the workflow in the way: Cue bus for the interprets which is managed via Cue sends (as sources) and Cue volume fader - in Control Room pane. I did not have any needs to have this as a part of MixConsole because of the fact I have the Control Room always shown so I can manage (if there is a need) the overall Cue mix volume in there.

I guess you are confused with in and out…

The aux track isn’t a real track in Cubase. It is available inside the mixing desk (n12) only.
