Ok. Now please be exact.
I need to do exactly this:I record a vocal.
Then I want to be able to play this vocal on my keyboard in different hights when I press different keys, as like if it was a midi-sound.How exactly do I do this?
I have Cubase 14 pro.
Thanks!
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Use the Sampler Track. You can import the Audio file. Then you can play it on the keyboard, and the sound will become transposed.
But how do I then use it like a midi-playable sound. Like:
- I start the record, I play on keyboard, and it will be midinotes on the/a miditrack.
Hi,
This is exactly, how the Sampler Track works.
By sending MIDI Note On, you trigger the given sample (audio file). Then you can record the MIDI data, to trigger the samples in the given time.
Thank you so much. I will try this out now! ![]()
