How to move a system from page to page

To force a system into the next page, you can insert a Frame Break in Engrave mode, at the beginning of the system.
To force a system into the previous page you can (in Engrave mode) select the first note of the page, then command(control) click the last note of the desired system, and click on Make into frame
That said, there are many ways to obtain the desired layout, which uses different methods, depending on the context and taking advantage of the very powerful automatic layout functionalities of Dorico.
For example:
- you can change the Note Spacing, globally for the layout, in Layout Options>Note Spacing, or local with a Note Spacing Change)
- you can change the Minimum Gaps in Layout Options>Vertical Spacings
- you can change the overall Space size in Layout Options>Page Setup
and so on…
The best way is to upload the Dorico project so we can give precise advice.
