How to mute empty channels on an ADM in Wavelab 13?

Hi everyone! Question: How can I mute empty channels in an ADM in an “Album” session? MC Fiedler does it. I just downloaded Wavelab 13 a week ago and I’m exploring it; I have version 11.2, and I love it!!

Question 2: Does Wavelab 13 have the option to monitor Apple’s Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) besides AC4? MC Fiedler does.

There are so many options, and I’m trying to understand Wavelab 13 step by step. I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks a million!

What do you mean with "mute empty channels " ?

No, sorry.

Hi PG1! Regarding muting channels, or as they’re better called, “tracks,” I mean that sometimes a generated ADM file can contain empty tracks, and this is incorrect. Digital music platforms reject them, and it also increases the file size (GB).
MC Fiedler, in the “Edit” menu, has a button that automatically mutes all channels or tracks without any audio, i.e., empty tracks. I hope that makes sense, PG1.

The DD+ monitoring isn’t relevant, but it helps to better conclude the final comparison between AC4 and DD+.

Regards and thanks.

This will be possible in WaveLab 13.0.20, along with several other cool Atmos features :slightly_smiling_face:

…Thank you so much for the information, PG1. Detecting and muting empty channels is a huge help with large sessions (in my case, since N14) that have been modified several times, where channels with nothing on them are being played.

Step by step, steady wins the race, W13!!

Have a good day.
