How to not having focus on Notepad when opening a Project

When opening a project where Notepad is used, the focus is on the Notepad not the Project Zone.
This means that anything you type on the computer keyboard show up in the Notepad instead of affecting the Project zone.
It would be nice if that could be corrected and the focus is on the Project zone when opening a project.
Hoping someone has a solution.
