How to notate "staccato throughout"?

Hi,

I’d like an instrument to play all notes staccato. I do not want to put the little staccato dot below each an every note but instead write “stacc.” to the point in the score from which on I’d like the staccato notes to be played. Similar to what “pizz” or “arco” do for strings.
Here is an example from a real score:

How can I do this?

Regards,
Chris

You can create a new playing technique to do that, which you’d then enter just as you would arco, pizz, etc.

That’s it! Fast and to the point. Works like a charm.

Thanks @judddanby

Many composers use ‘sim.’, where the context is obvious, as here.
