Is there a way of nudging just the dynamic along a grid, without moving the outer ends of the hairpins grouped to it?
No. You’ll need to ungroup the dynamics if you need to make these kinds of adjustments, though when you do you will also find that the duration and position of the hairpins do not change, they are simply truncated when Dorico draws them to avoid unsightly collisions between the immediate and gradual dynamics.
Thanks Daniel. I’ve found ways of inputting the dynamic and hairpins where I’d like, I was just curious whether there’s a methods that’d be faster. That being said, doing it “manually” is not so terribly slow anyways.
