Hello. I want to paste the piano sheet music upward. I tried pasting to the next measure by pressing R. Is it possible to paste by pressing R to move the sheet music upward like in the picture?
I know how to paste by pressing Ctrl+C.
If you want cross-staff notation, like this, then press N.
If you want to just move the notes to the upper staff, then press Alt/Opt+N.
If you want to copy the notes to the upper staff, right-click and choose Paste Special > Duplicate to Staff Above. There’s no key command defined for this, but you can make your own (I have it mapped to Ctrl+Alt+N).
