How to play midi channel cubase elements 9.5

Hi,
I’m new to cubase. Use cubase elements 9.5.

I record a midi channel and I want cubase to “play” it through my external synth so I can record it as an audio track. I want to use a sound that not include at the cubase internal instruments.
My synth do not have a vst plugin.

How to do it?

Send the MIDI data out to the MIDI Port that is connected to your synth and record the audio out of your synth via the soundcard - which you are not mentioning - back into Cubase.
