How to quickly see peak level of clips?

I only recently became acquainted with the “statistics” function. I have seen though that if you raise the gain in a clip on the info line and run statistics then the new gain is not shown.

Is there a quick way to see what the peak level of a track is after all the inserts, eq, etc?

Use Render in Place with either “Channel Settings” or “Complete Signal Path” selected. You can then undo to remove the rendered file.

Yeah…I was wondering if there is a faster/more streamlined method than RIP
