How to quit Cubase 15 after closing the hub?

Hello all,

when I have closed my project and be redirected back to the hub and want to quit cubase 15 I hit the X in the upper right corner. But this is just closing the hub and not quitting the programm.

In Cubase 14 there was a button to end cubase. in Cubase 15 I need to open the menue in the hub to quit the programm. Or do I miss something?

Cheers,

Ceh (on win 11)

If the Hub is the only window open in Cubase, closing it quits Cubase. Or, assign a Key Command to File>Quit

Thx, steve!

YOu are right, there is the performace indicator and the time counter which is still open even the prpject which has this attached is allready saved and closed. After closing the hub and this two tool-windows cubase is not longer active in the task bar.

As I mentioned, it was more easy in CB14 by just hit the button “close cubase”.

Cheers, ceh

This might be better- instead of assigning a key command to File>Quit, assign one to Windows>Close All

I liked the “Close Cubase“ button…

I suppose that’s a feature request… I tagged this topic. Having the close box quit the app even with non-project windows open makes sense to me.

I think so, too.

The Hub even shows there is a key command to close Cubase . . . Ctrl-Q . . . but that keyboard command does not work, so why is it even there ?

It does work. The focus is on the search field though,

Yes, thanks you are correct . . . if you click off of the default search field, the key command Ctrl-Q does close Cubase . . . not as graceful as Cubase 14
