How to record multiple audio file without over lap
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Can you be a bit more specific, please?
Do you want to record multiple tracks at the same time and punch in/out or do you want to record one signal on a single track using cycle record? Or something completly different?
The more info the better ![]()
Thanks for your time,
Let say, track 1 I record the piano now, when recording the second track for vocal… the piano record again on the vocal track and so on. Let say I want another track for bass, both piano and vocal will record on track 3 at the same time. If I mute piano and vocal no way I can synchronize. I have tried the monitor fonction, does not change anything but activating the vues.
Hi,
it has most likely something to do with your routing: Can you upload a screenshot of your second track and its routing? That’s the easiest way for us to understand and to explain what went wrong.

EDIT: “We” as in all users here in this forum, not “We” as in the Royal We ![]()
Most common cause of this is the loopback function in your interface….if it has one turn it off. If not then you’ll need to post more detail as Reco says
Hi,
Thanks for fast reply. Here is my issue, I realize that I lost my install cd, so I don’t have the UR22c MKII interface. A few month ago my old computer went down so was replace.
.. any way or link to download the missing software?
Regards
Frank Joly
Okay, what about your original question?
BTW: You should never post private serial numbers in a public forum - maybe you want to delete the bit with the serial number in your last post ![]()
Tanks a million
Thanks for your support, was a routing issue.
