In the Eastwest Hollywood library, there are (apparently) lighter weight combo percussion kits that make use of key ranges for different instruments, e.g., F1 - B1 bass drum, F3-B3 snare, F6-A6 suspended cymbal etc. What would be the best way to organize this “patch”? Should all the included instruments be in a percussion kit with one percussion map (seems the most logical). Or perhaps individual instruments that share the same percussion map?
Just throwing this out there to see if and how others have dealt with these types of patches.
