How to remove a comp Split?

Using Cubase 15 Pro on w11.
Looking at this vidéo by DOM , between 8.12 and 8.20 he fastly removed a comp split when in comp mode.
How to do this ??? What a magic action !!
With Comp tool +ALT we can split comped sections on lanes, but how to remove a split when undo history is no more available ?

No magic action! It´s not a split, it’s a very tiny event.
Watch the video at 0.25 speed and zoom in a lot.
You will see that he just clicks the border till it snaps to the next beat to remove that little snippet.

Is comp tool separating the original audio event in smaller events ?
Or is it a special form of ‘comp event’ ?
What is doing the comp+ALT and click action ? Split one of these ‘comp events’ in 2 new comp events ?
So there is no way to ‘glue back’ 2 comp events, or simply remove a split between 2 comp events, to obtain one ?

first option is undo, second way is to drag in the middle of 2 events, a new cursor appears and you can resize to left or right til you reach the next comp event to make 1 event from 2.
