Somehow I’ve got unwanted Font Styles appearing in all new Dorico files in the Font Styles list that I can’t delete.
The delete button (trash can) is greyed out. How can I get rid of these unwanted entries?
You cannot remove custom font styles which are currently used in the project.
This seems to be the case here.
Normally, you get a font style if that music font is used in the document. If they are appearing in every document, that suggests that you’ve got something that might be using them, like a playing technique, saved in your defaults.
Not that I’m aware of… would be great if it were easy to track down where it might be being used.
Can you attach a project that contains the unwanted font styles, and a list of which font styles are unwanted?
Hi Daniel,
I really don’t know how to describe exactly what’s going on with my font, paragraph, character styles, other than to say, try opening the Font Styles dialog box. You might see what I’m seeing:
…which doesn’t seem to look like it’s supposed to?
However, I’m happy to report that I seem to have been able to clean up my unwanted styles by hitting the “Reset” button on all styles first, then hitting the trashcan on the unwanted ones. But something still seems to be awry…
Thanks.
