How to repeat a bar when the first note is tied with a precedent note?

Hello,
I want to repeat a bar, but as the first note is tied with it’s precedent note,I can’t select the entire bar without the preceding note.
is it possible? Or must I do allways copy two measure than remove the first one?
Two examples:

if the last notes is differtent:

you actually selected more than a bar, as the first note starts before the barline.
Best procedure would be: un-tie the first note (with U key), then select the actual bar and press R (for repeat).
Later you may tie the notes again.
